Sibling Session: Monica and Leah

I have known Leah and Monica since...oh, who knows! We have known each other almost our entire lives. We all grew up in homeschooling. I eventually went to a private school, but in elementary and middle school I was home schooled. (I HIGHLY recommend homeschooling.) See, some counties have home school groups or co-op groups. They hold an abundance of classes and activities. It's great! We were in the same group and eventually attended the same church. Basically, we have known each other "forever."

Monica and I had some of the same friends, so we have kept in touch on and off over the years. She recently started attended the same University as me! However, she got hitched this past March, yay! Her and her hubby now live in Germany. She is visiting for the holidays and wanted to get some pictures with her sister, Leah!

We had a lot of fun! Monica and Leah have such cool personalities, which make it easy to capture their joy and love for each other as sisters! It's great!

Thank you Leah and Monica for allowing me to take your pictures! You two are such beautiful women. Keep the faith and walk strongly in Christ as you enter into this coming year. God loves you SO much! I have no doubt that he has great things in store for each of you!

A Special Shout-Out

For those of you who do not know me that well, I was recently wed to the most amazing man! I became Mrs. Strasburger on August 6, 2011. ♥

I wanted to give a special shout out to three wonderful people that helped us out tremendously!

Robin Walton, with Make It Cake made our wedding cake. (Her facebook link here: Make It Cake: Facebook) Location: Central Georgia

Regina Jones, with Regi Originals made the grooms cake. Location: North Carolina

Haley Sheffield, of The Photography of Haley Sheffield was our amazing photographer. (Facebook link here: Haley's facebook) Location: Central Georgia

These three ladies were of great help to my family and to everyone else volunteering their time! I highly recommend each of them. All three are passionate women of God (awesome quality). They were very professional and had such patience with everyone.

Thank you so much Robin, Regi and Haley! I cannot express how much you eased my stress and worries. I knew without a doubt you had things under control and that it would turn out wonderful! ...and I was right! I would recommend you to everyone I know! Thank you!

More Green Family Session

My sincerest apologies. I have had, in short, a crazy and busy couple of weeks. I have not had much time to edit and even less time to post what I have edited. However, things are picking up (all thanks to God my Father). Not that I have anything less on my plate, but Christ has helped me to manage those things in a much more productive way. I have definitely more peace and clarity all because of my beloved Savior.

Here are a few more Green Family photos in which I promised a week ago. Again, my apologies.

The Greens are family friends. I have known them since I was a toddler. We went to the same church as children and went to Awanas together. Charis (the Greens second oldest) and I grew up as friends. We went to sleep-overs together and if I remember correctly, one of our last sleep-overs involved her birthday and the Lord of the Rings II. Haha! Great times!

I have taken pictures with Charis and her family previously and so when her mother asked if I could take pictures of all of her children, I was really excited! I love this family!

I had a ton of fun taking all of your pictures! You all are hilarious and brought me so much joy during this session! Thank you for allowing me this opportunity! I hope you enjoy!

Family Session: Layman Family

Backing up a little,...I recently graduated with my degree after attending GSW for four years. My freshman year I was highly involved with the Wesley Foundation, but after a while felt God calling me elsewhere. So I left. Well, in my last couple of years at GSW I reconnected with the WesHouse. Lowell was the director when I came back. He is an awesome preacher and a great leader. He is the person who could answer any history questions you have, whether Biblical or not. He and his wife Slitra have a big heart for the students, both from America and from other countries. They brought in foreign students hoping to show them the Bible and teach them about Jesus. It is amazing the impact they have made.

It was an honor and a ton of fun taking your pictures! I hope you enjoy them!

Thank you!
