Strasburger Photography

Hi Everyone!

I know, I know. A lot is changing. Let me explain.

I named my work Sunshine Photography a long time ago, simply because I could. I was having fun day-dreaming about becoming a photographer. I always loved natural light and outdoors photography, so I named it Sunshine. I could never imagine making it something like Stephanie's Photography or The Photography of Stephanie Gillespie. It just didn't flow right, and besides, my name would soon be changed to Strasburger.

I have so many ways in which I need to progress. I have so much to learn as a photographer. I see so many photographers whose company names relate to the individual photographer and I like that. I want my clients to know there photographer as a unique individual, not a company. Therefore I have decided (after months of swaying) to change this photography business to Strasburger Photography.

There are many more steps along the way: business cards, a copyright, watermark and a legitimate website.

I know, I could have been working on this so much sooner, but what a perfect time to start!

So here we go! From this day forward, Sunshine Photography will be known as Strasburger Photography!

Creative Session // Hannah

This girl has been so patient with me. She has helped me practice indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, and dark lighting. Also all those times I just want to take pictures in a certain location and I need someone to be my model. 

One little side note: In this session, I really wanted to take some photos in my new backyard. It is usually overgrown and beautiful green. So, here are those photos! They turned out well, eh?

Hannah, you are just so awesome for helping me out! I mean it! I hope that there are many more sessions (with you) to come! Thank you so much!

Wedding // Tyler & Cassidy Crowley

Well, this is long overdo! 

My friends Tyler and Cassidy got hitched! ♥ Yay!

I have known these two beautiful people since my senior year in high school. Youth group brought us, and many others, together. We are as close as family. I love these two {and everyone else in our Byron group}. These two are such loving people. They have a patience and compassion that is a rarity among the human race. Tyler and Cassidy have such tender and forgiving hearts. It is such a beautiful thing to witness! After saying all this, you can understand why it was such an honor for me to be able to shoot at their wedding! 

Tyler and Cassidy, thank you so much for the opportunity to capture your wedding! It was such a peaceful wedding, before, during and after. The love that you two have is extraordinary. I haven't seen you two very often and during all of the chaos of your wedding day I saw so much of your genuine compassion for people. It's truly amazing. God is doing so much through you two and I know without a shadow of a doubt that He will continue that good work through you. Don't ever give up. Continue to put Christ first, as He is the center and foundation of any and all relationships. You are both wonderful people and I am so blessed to call you my friends!
