Creative Session: Carlton Dawson

Carlton and I have known each other for almost four years now and all because of college here in Americus. Carlton is RIDICULOUS and when I say ridiculous, I mean he is extremely talented. He sings like no other person I know. I could learn so much from him. He is also an amazing dancer, and if I am correct, he teaches hip hop (maybe some other classes, too?).
He had mentioned months ago how do a "shoot" would be a lot of fun, but we never really got around to it. However, we were finally able to plan a day to do this! :) We took photos out in his backyard (it was beautiful, by the way) at about ten or so in the morning. It was incredible lighting and plenty of nature to roam!

Creative Session: David Gillespie

David is my "little" brother. I absolutely love him to death. He could tell you that we haven't always gotten along (as most siblings usually don't when they are younger) but as I reached my college years, we have become closer. It's possible that since we were no longer living in the same house, it made it easier for us to get along. He has become best friends with my husband, Chris, which is AWESOME!

I have had the honor of watching his love for Christ grow. It blows my mind! I am so proud of him for his love, compassion, and committment to God. He is definitely an incredible person with a ridiculous heart for Christ! I love him TONS!

Engagement Session: Cassidy and Tyler

I have known Tyler and Cassidy since my senior year in high school, a little over five years now. They are both amazing people with beautiful and loving hearts. I was ecstatic when I got permission to take their pictures at a friend of mine's property. Their land is filled with fields, rows of trees, barns, a stable, horses, pastures, and trails. It is beautiful! However, I was more excited about Cassidy and Tyler asking me to take their engagement pictures! This is my first engagement session, ever! And it was so much fun!

Their laughter and smiles made the session really enjoyable. Their patience with me was and is still very much appreciated. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
Thank you Cassidy and Tyler for allowing me to capture your love! It is truly beautiful! I know God is going to do wonderful things through you both!

Creative Session: Mary Franklin

Mary and I met on a bus last fall. We were going on a retreat with the Wesley Foundation at our University and the only seat available on the bus was next to her. We clicked instantly and became best friends within four hours, and I truly mean best friends. We were connected at the hip. When we arrived to the camp grounds, people thought we had known each other for a really long time. Supposedly it looked like we knew each other really well. :) I love it when that happens! We have been close friends ever since and I can honestly say that she is possibly my closest friend here in Americus.

Mary has let me take pictures of her before, and it has benefited me tremendously! Thank you so much Mary for putting up with my photo explorations and allowing me to capture your beautiful smile and beautiful face! I love you!

Creative Session: Devon Kester

Devon, is an AMAZING friend of mine. Her heart is, if I can use this word...ridiculous! We got to know each other at a Baptist College Ministry volleyball game and got to talking and not just small talk. We got deep, real quick. We've been friends ever since.
She is a wonderful artist who can do anything (and I mean anything! painting, glass blowing, singing, drawing, play piano...you name it!) she puts her mind to!

It was a honor to capture and believe me when I say you will see her again!
